On the operating unit, you can set the level of assistance you want while pedalling. The assistance level can be changed at any time, even while cycling. The electrical drive will assist you when pedalling up to a speed of 25 km/h or 15.5 mph. If you reach a higher speed than 25 km/h or 15.5 mph, the electrical drive will automatically switch off. If the speed falls below 25 km/h or 15.5 mph, the electrical drive will once again automatically switch on.
The following assistance levels are available:
- OFF: Motor assistance is switched off. The Carqon can just be moved by pedalling, as with a normal bicycle. Note: The walk assistance cannot be activated at this assistance level.
- ECO: Effective assistance with maximum efficiency, for maximum range.
- TOUR: Steady assistance, with a long range for touring.
- SPORT: Powerful assistance for cycling in urban areas.
- TURBO: Maximum assistance even at high pedalling.
