Your Carqon has a significantly higher weight and a different weight distribution than a traditional bike. This changes the riding behavior. Familiarize yourself with the riding behavior of your Carqon away from road traffic and without kinds during your first ride. Please note, the electrical drive has a significant influence on the braking behavior.
Note: These instructions relate to the Bosch Intuvia and Bosch Purion on-board computer.
Bosch Intuvia Display
Only switch on the drive system if you are sitting on the cargo bike. To switch on the on-board computer, briefly press the on/off button (5). The on-board computer can also be switched on when it is not inserted in the holder (if the internal battery is sufficiently charged). To switch off the on-board computer, press the on/off button (5). The system shuts down after being switched off; this takes approximately three seconds. It cannot be switched back on until shutdown has been completed. If the Carqon doesn’t move for about 10 minutes and no button is pressed on the on-board computer, the Carqon system switches off automatically in order to save energy.
Note: Always switch off the Carqon system when you park the Carqon.
Bosch Purion Display
The Bosch Purion Display is the smallest on-board computer. You can see all important information at the display while remaining both hands on the handle bar. Five different riding modes give you the correct support in every situation. To start the engine, press the on/off button (1). The drive is activated as soon as you start pedalling. The system shuts down after being switched off (with the on/off button); this takes approximately three seconds. It cannot be switched back on until shutdown has been completed.
