Your Carqon is equipped with a direct cable steering system instead of a steering rod. We designed a dual cable system, purely for double safety. The degree of wear and tear to your cables depends on the usage of your bike. Your dealer will check the condition of the cable(s) during maintenance check-ups. We do advise replacement of the cables if there is increasing space in the braiding of the cable, or if damage has been detected.

You can check the condition of the cables from the bottom of the bike. For changing the cables, it is necessary to remove the box.
